On the occasion of the State Level Award ceremony of Wildlife Week, our Representative in India for the State of Rajasthan, Ms. Vaishnavi M., experienced in wildlife protection and conservation was congratulated by the Rajasthan forest department for her distinguished activities on the field and her exemplary capacity building.
During the Wildlife Week, our representative organised awareness programmes, interactive activities, workshops, educational tours and lectures for more than 5000 students and youth in collaboration with the Forest Department of Rajasthan, the Indian Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB), the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI), the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Rajasthan, the National Cadet Corps (NCC), the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts & Guides and WORLD Organization with the common objective to raise awareness towards students, youth and civil society on the theme of Wildlife protection and Conservation and wildlife crime in Rajasthan.
She also launched the “National Bird Conservation Project”, a signature campaign for the conservation and protection of the national bird of India, the Peacock, that has already reached out thousands of students and youth.
