After 9 months of undercover investigation inside a Iams contract testing laboratory, the american association PETA showed to the world a shocking video (april 2003). PETA documents revealed cruel tests on cats and dogs horribly abused. PETA reported that inside the kennel there were:
1. dogs gone crazy from intense confinement to barren steel cages and cement cells, some of them for more than 6 years
2. dogs left piled on a filthy paint-chipped floor after having chunks of muscle hacked from their thighs
3. dogs surgically debarked
4. horribly sick dogs and cats languishing in their cages, neglected and left to suffer with no veterinary care
