OIPA volunteers in Tanzania visited Kitefu primary School in the city of Arusha.
Inform and educate children to respect the animals is the key to see a change in the future generations.
OIPA Tanzania work to educate both children and adults on proper animal care and welfare. By bringing educational and fun seminars to schools around the Meru Area, they help prepare the next generation for a better and kinder understanding of animals. They also work with animal owners in market places and with community leaders in villages to learn proper livestock harnessing and working conditions. In 2013 they created the MAWO Educational Guide to better serve and teach school children through learning activities and story-telling lessons.
