Last month our member league association – Bir Pati De Sen Tut in Turkey contacted us asking for help for Isik, an individual rescuer in Ankara who was desperately looking for food to feed her stray dogs.
A woman and animal lover who takes care of street dogs collected from the city centre by municipal shelter employees and dumped in the middle of nowhere on the outskirts of the city. Animals who will easily die if no one provide them food and water.
Our member league Bir Pati, Despite struggling with emergencies, delivered on our behalf some bags of dry food to Isik’s dogs enough to fill their stomach for some days.
The remaining quantity will cover stray dogs and cats feeding needs in other hot spots of Ankara, Luleburgaz and İzmir.
