The OIPA delegation for Maharashtra state, in India, jointly organized with Amma Care Foundation (ACF) and Plant & Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai (PAWS-Mumbai) a free anti-rabies vaccination drive for strays at Mulund area, under the supervision of veterinarian Dr. Rahul Meshram and the guidance of Honorary Animal Welfare Officer Sunish Subramanian.
Ms. Nisha Kunju, Representative of OIPA, ACF & PAWS-Mumbai, stated: “Local animal lover Fidele Varel and volunteer Hitesh Yadav vaccinated strays from Raja Industrial Estate, Royal Classic, Dreams Residency, MCGM Ground and the area opposite Fortis Hospital.”
The rabies vaccination campaign will be soon conducted in other areas.
